Vision Group of Uganda implements 4Cplus solutions
The Vision Group incorporated as the New Vision Printing & Publishing Company Limited (NVPPCL), started business in March 1986. Today The Vision Group is Uganda's largest media conglomerate with interests in publishing newspapers, magazines, internet publishing, television, radio broadcasting and commercial printing, advertising and distribution services.
The group owns TV West, Bukedde TV and four FM radio stations. The Vision Group also publishes Uganda?s leading English daily The Vision and Bukedde the only daily published in Luganda. The group also publishes other regional weekly newspapers in different languages.
4Cplus has implemented CIO|365TM: Advertisement Management System for the booking, scheduling, invoicing and credit control of all advertising. The system handles the advert booking for all mediums - print, radio, TV and Internet providing the management combined MIS. The Vision Group has also implemented the 4Cplus broadcast management system (BMS) and Layout-X and for advert page planning in print publications.
4Cplus has designed and implemented an integrated multimedia newsroom for the Vision Group. The system allows the newsroom to gather news from various sources like wire services, reporters, bureau offices. The news then goes through a workflow and the final stories are published in print and on the websites - www.NewVision.co.ug and www.Bukedde.co.ug
